FitnessSyncer complies with the E.U.-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF) and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF) as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce. FitnessSyncer has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (EU-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from the European Union and the United Kingdom in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF. FitnessSyncer has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from Switzerland in reliance on the Swiss-U.S. DPF. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the EU-U.S. DPF Principles and/or the Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles, the Principles shall govern. When you create a FitnessSyncer account, add personal data in your profile, or sync or upload data to your account, your personal data will be collected and stored on servers in the United States. We will share your personal information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement or as is required by law. Certain laws such as California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) classify the sharing of personal information as sold or a sale; we do not sell your personal information to third parties, but rather share information with select organizations to provide you with FitnessSyncer’s services.
We may provide your personal information to companies that provide services to help us with our business activities such as payment processing, e-mail delivery, hosting, or customer service. These companies are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to provide these services to us. These organizations include:
FitnessSyncer connects to health and fitness services you choose, including, among others, Google Health, Garmin Connect, Strava, Samsung Health, Apple Health, Withings, and Polar. FitnessSyncer reads data from those services so you can view, explore, and analyze it using FitnessSyncer’s Dashboard, Stream, Notebook, reports, and export tools, and so you can synchronize it to other services you connect.
FitnessSyncer requests access only to the data types needed for the features you use. Depending on the service and the permissions you grant, these are:
All access and synchronization occurs only with your explicit consent. You choose which services to connect, which data types each Source reads, and which Destinations, if any, receive that data. FitnessSyncer will write data to a connected service only when you create a Destination Synchronization Task that asks it to. Your data is encrypted, is never used for advertising purposes, and is never shared with unauthorized third parties.
You may revoke a connected service’s permissions, disable or delete any Source or Destination, or delete your data or your entire account at any time from your FitnessSyncer account. Permissions granted through a platform such as Google Health Connect or Apple Health may also be revoked from within that platform. When you delete your data or your account, we delete it from our systems. Copies held in our encrypted backups are removed as those backups expire, within 30 days.
FitnessSyncer’s use and transfer of information received from the Google Health API will adhere to the Google Health API Developer and User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
FitnessSyncer’s use and transfer of information received from other Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We may also disclose your personal information
You may access your personal information in your profile or by exporting your data to CSV at any time. When you delete your data or your account, we delete it as described in Connected Services and Health Data.
You may limit your personal information disclosure by using filters or not exporting data to other providers.
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, to protect your account and our forms from unauthorized or fraudulent actions, and to remember choices you make, such as your language and dark mode preferences. These are always on, because the website cannot work without them.
With your permission, we also use Google Analytics cookies to understand, in aggregate, how people use our website. We ask for your permission in the cookie notice on our website. If you do not allow analytics cookies, Google Analytics stores no cookies on your device and receives only limited usage information without them.

Our payment processor, Stripe, sets cookies on payment pages to help prevent fraud.
Our support chat, provided by DocsBot, does not use cookies. When you chat with it, it keeps the conversation in your browser’s local storage so that it can continue as you move between pages.

The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as a credit card number) on our payment forms, we encrypt the transmission of that information using Transport Layer Security (TLS).
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. When you delete your account, we delete your data as described in Connected Services and Health Data. We may keep limited records, such as payment and tax records, as needed to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. In compliance with the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF and the Swiss-U.S. DPF, FX Development, Inc. commits to refer unresolved complaints concerning our handling of personal data received in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF and the Swiss-U.S. DPF to Verasafe, an alternative dispute resolution provider based in the United States. If you do not receive timely acknowledgment of your DPF Principles-related complaint from us, or if we have not addressed your DPF Principles-related complaint to your satisfaction, please visit Verasafe’s dispute submission page for more information or to file a complaint. EnforcementWe take your privacy extremely seriously and treat it as our own. You can do most of this yourself: update your Profile, export your data to CSV, disconnect services, change your cookie choice, or delete your account. We will verify your request and respond within the time the law requires, and we will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
