FitnessSyncer App Release Notes
Every release of the FitnessSyncer apps for iOS and Android, and what changed in it. For everything else we have shipped, including the website, see our What’s New page.
Older releases show what the release was for. The full store listings for them were replaced each time we shipped, so the App Store and Play Store are where to find the notes for whichever version you have installed.
Running into a problem? Our beta builds carry the newest fixes before they reach everyone else, so what you need may already be in one. You can join through TestFlight on iOS or the test build on Android: see joining the beta or TestFlight builds or Contact Us so we can help resolve that!
Rebuilt Leaderboards you can join and leave in the app, tablet layouts and two windows, Shortcuts, and 27 languages!
October 5, 2026 2.2.9.14 3.0.10.12
FitnessSyncer for iOS
NEW
- Leaderboards, rebuilt. Each board now knows how it is won: by total, average, best single measurement, change or percent change since the start, or points, and whether higher or lower wins, so a weight or resting heart rate board ranks the right way round.
- A Leaderboards Standings view shows your place, the gap to the people around you, how you moved since the last period, and when it was last updated. Accept, decline or leave a Leaderboard right from the app.
- Annotations. Tap a point on a chart to note what was going on, and your note appears under every chart of that measurement.
- Charts colored by your goals. Each period shows whether it met the goal, and a near miss looks different from a bad one.
- Set your own glucose range in your Profile, and KPI tiles now show a warning band as well as out of range.
- Make the most of your iPad. Settings and the Dashboard's options open as a list beside the screen you picked, and with a keyboard attached there is a menu bar with your tabs, your tools, and Command-S and Command-W.
- Two windows at once, each keeping its own report, dates and filters.
- FitnessSyncer is in Shortcuts. Sync, check how the last syncs went, see where you stand on your goals, add a file to your Notebook or open a dashboard, most of them without opening the app.
- Share a FIT, TCX, GPX, PWX, KML, KMZ or ZIP file from any app, or drop it on the Sources and Destinations screen, and it lands in your Notebook.
- FitnessSyncer now speaks 27 languages, adding Czech, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Indonesian, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Slovenian, Traditional Chinese, Turkish and Ukrainian, and Portuguese in both its European and Brazilian forms.
IMPROVED
- A thorough accessibility pass. VoiceOver reads every button, switch and field by its name, screens have headings, charts read their values rounded and in your language, text follows your preferred size on every screen, and Reduce Motion is respected.
- Back buttons and swipe back on every screen, and an editor asks before throwing away your changes.
- Settings save themselves. The Save button is gone; change something and it is kept.
- Sources and destinations are grouped, and the app opens on the dashboard you last viewed.
- A show/hide control on every password field, and AutoFill knows the sign-in fields.
- Goals are simpler to set up, Pivot Tables have filters, the Dashboard is faster, and dark mode is corrected throughout.
- Choose which reports and Notebook categories appear in your tabs.
