Passkey Authentication

FitnessSyncer supports Passkey Authentication, providing secure, passwordless login between your devices and FitnessSyncer.

Getting Started

To set up a passkey:

  1. Visit your Profile and expand the Passkey Authentication section.
  2. Click Create New Passkey
  3. Your browser will prompt you to create a passkey. Once complete, your new passkey will appear in the table.

If you are using Safari, please use a version greater than 18.4.

How to use Passkeys?

Logging in with a passkey is easy:

  1. Go to the login page and enter your email address.
  2. After selecting Sign In, if your browser or app supports passkeys, you’ll be prompted to confirm use of your passkey.
  3. Upon confirmation, you’ll be securely signed in.

  • For Android, use FitnessSyncer v3.0.5.7 or later.
  • For iOS, use FitnessSyncer v2.2.3.7 or later.

How do I delete Passkeys?

To delete a passkey:

  1. Visit your Profile and expand the Passkey Authentication section.
  2. Clicking the Delete Icon () next to the passkey you wish to remove.

Can I have both Passkeys and Two Factor Authentication enabled at the same time?

You can enable both Passkey Authentication and Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) at the same time. However, when you log in using a passkey, you won’t be prompted for a 2FA code.
