Allergies, Medications and Conditions
Three kinds of item keep the parts of your health record that last rather than happen once:
- An Allergy names what you are allergic to and, where you know it, how it is treated.
- A Medication names a medication with its dose and strength.
- A Condition names a health condition you have been diagnosed with.
Each has the date it started and, once it is over, the date it stopped, so a medication you no longer take is kept as a former one rather than deleted.
Where these records come from
Most people add them in the FitnessSyncer Notebook, choosing Allergy, Medication or Condition as the type, or ask their AI assistant to add them. They can also be read from and written to CSV files on your cloud drive.
Seeing these records
The Health Report lists your current allergies, conditions and medications beside your personal details and your latest readings, as a quick snapshot of your health.
FitnessSyncer Print lists everything that was active at any time in the period you choose, including anything started earlier and not yet stopped. If you started a medication during the period, Print can add your average readings before it and after it, so the change is the first thing your doctor sees.
These are records rather than measurements, so they are not charted and cannot be compared in Compare.
Asking your AI assistant
With the FitnessSyncer MCP Server, an AI assistant can tell you what allergies, conditions and medications you have on file, add one for you, and tell you whether a measurement such as your blood pressure changed after you started a medication. See the sample prompts for ideas.
