ECG Recordings in FitnessSyncer

FitnessSyncer keeps the ECG recordings your devices take, each with its waveform, its average heart rate and the result your device reported, such as sinus rhythm or atrial fibrillation.

The result shown for an ECG is the one your recording device reported. FitnessSyncer does not analyze your ECG or change that result, and it is not for diagnosis. Talk to your doctor about anything that concerns you.

Where your ECG recordings come from

These services can send your ECG data to FitnessSyncer:

ECG recordings cannot be entered in the FitnessSyncer Notebook, because a waveform is not something you can type in. Sending them to a cloud drive keeps every recording, waveform included, as a FitnessSyncer API file; see Cloud Files.

The ECG report

The Dashboard has a built-in ECG report. It shows how many recordings you took over the period, a summary of what they showed, and a recording drawn as a strip on standard ECG paper, along with what else was happening around it, such as your sleep and activity that day.

Comparing recordings

Choose two to four ECG recordings in Compare to see them one above the other on the same grid and scale, with the details that differ between them highlighted.

Exporting

From an ECG source, exporting CSV gives one row per recording, with when it was recorded, its result, its heart rate and its source. It is a summary for reading, not the waveform.

Asking your AI assistant

With the FitnessSyncer MCP Server, an AI assistant can list your recordings, describe one in detail, show what was happening around it, and summarize your history, always quoting the result your device reported.

Why don't my Samsung Health or Garmin ECG recordings come across?

Samsung Health and Garmin Connect do not make ECG recordings available to other apps, and Google Health Connect has no ECG record type, so there is no way for FitnessSyncer to read them. If your device can share its recordings with Apple Health, connect Apple Health instead.
