Cycle Tracking with FitnessSyncer

FitnessSyncer keeps your menstrual cycle records alongside the rest of your health and fitness data. A Cycle Tracking entry can record any of four things for a day: your flow level, your basal body temperature, your cervical mucus, and the result of an ovulation test. One of them is enough; you do not need all four.

Where your cycle data comes from

These services can send your Cycle Tracking data to FitnessSyncer:

FitnessSyncer can send your Cycle Tracking data to:

You can also log entries yourself in the FitnessSyncer Notebook: choose Cycle Tracking as the type, fill in what you have, and save. Cycle data also travels as CSV through your cloud drive, in the columns CycleFlowLevel, CycleBasalBodyTempCelsius (or CycleBasalBodyTempFahrenheit), CycleCervicalMucus and CycleOvulationTest.

The Cycle Tracking report

The Dashboard has a built-in Cycle Tracking report, free on every account. At the top it shows your cycle day, your current phase, and how many days remain until your next period is expected. Below that are your predicted fertile window and ovulation date, how confident the prediction is and how many logged cycles it is based on, and your average cycle length and luteal phase length. The rest of the report charts what you logged: weekly views of flow, cervical mucus and ovulation tests, and your basal body temperature over time.

Predictions need a few complete cycles. Until you have logged enough of them, the report says so rather than guessing.

Cycle predictions are estimates made from your own logged history. They are not medical advice and are not a method of birth control.

Asking your AI assistant

With the FitnessSyncer MCP Server, an AI assistant can tell you your cycle day, when your next period is due and when your fertile window is, using the same predictions as the report, and it can log an entry for you.

Can I hide Cycle Tracking?

Yes. On the Preferences page you can hide the Cycle Tracking report from the Dashboard and the Cycle Tracking category from the Notebook. Nothing is deleted, and you can show them again at any time.

Who can see my cycle data?

Only you, unless you decide otherwise. An app or AI assistant you connect to FitnessSyncer can read your cycle data only if you grant it that permission specifically, and you can review or withdraw what you granted in your profile. See Sharing for sharing your data with someone else.

Does Cycle Tracking sync with Apple Health and Google Health Connect?

Yes, in both directions. In the FitnessSyncer app, turn Cycle Tracking on for reading, writing or both, under Apple Health on iOS or Google Health Connect on Android. The first time, your phone asks you to allow menstrual flow, basal body temperature, cervical mucus and ovulation tests.
